January 17, 2012It’s Capt. Good N Plenty with plenty of good news from the Dave Lawrence interview scene: A truckload of funk pulled in, apparently, and Sir Elton John brought his band to Hawaii again! Dave Lawrence speaks with his drummer and guitar player of four decades, Davey and Nigel.
Then there was recent island visitor Mr. Chris Isaak who was Mr. Lawrence’s guest and you can hear a fun conversation with those two. And as if that wasn’t enough Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley come with the serious FUNK. Dave has a blast with the guys who popped the horns in the JBs and brought the scalpel to Dr. Funkenstein’s instrument kit.
AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT! No need for alarm, however. They write catchy songs sort of like U2 or Radiohead, and are coming to Hawaii. They talked with DL and it is online in the DL interview library from 2011.
